During the first week of December, Blind Service Association presents its
annual Jewelry Bazaar, a fundraiser to benefit the organization. Supporters donate costume
and fine jewelry to the event. A professional appraiser help guarantee that prices are fair and reasonable, and volunteers staff the show from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Shoppers delight in browsing the offerings in a fun, friendly setting. Most of all, they hope to find a special treasure to take home, knowing they've supported the work of BSA. To find out how you can help, either by donating your jewelry or your time, please call our main office at 312-236-0808.

You can help support Blind Service Association (BSA) by participating in BSA's 16th Annual Lights of Love and Remembrance Celebration at an open house on Thursday, December 14, 2017. For just $10 you can purchase a light from the string of lights that will decorate our office during this holiday season. Purchasing a white light will honor the memory of someone who continues to shine through you. Purchasing a colored light will honor those who today continue to light up your heart. For only $50 you can purchase six lights!
When we receive your check or money order we will mail a card to you so you can add your own personal message before sending it to the person you are honoring or to the family of the person you are remembering. The card will indicate that a light was purchased in his/her memory or honor and will continue to shine for 10 days. Remember to get your request in early. After the New Year, a list of all the names of the people being honored and remembered will be available on-line. Click here for a list of 2016 light donors.
